Heavy Peta-ing

chak just recently wrapped our minds around the terabyte… or more specifically the CONCEPT of being able to buy 1,000 gigs of storage for less than the cost of The Beatles: Rock Band SE bundle. Hell, these days (mid-2009) you can pick up two…. TWO terabytes for less than that. Times are pretty awesome for tech geeks and data nerds. We can casually perform computing functions with the flick of a wrist that Howard Aiken or Wesley Clark probably had wet dreams about.

So even though we here at chak central© are aware of larger format denotations, frankly we’re just having too much fun thinking in ‘terabytes’. We like
